Question: When should I make my reservation?
Answer: If you have already booked your flight, then you should book your ground transportation as well. There are two reasons for this. First, during the weekends is all transportation companies most busy time. We do sell out. Secondly, Fares are subject to change without notice. If you like the fares you see, book it - they can change tomorrow!

Question: What time should I schedule my pick up at the airport or port?
Answer: Generally, it takes approximately 30 minutes to claim your luggage once you arrive. The best policy is to schedule your pick up time at the airport about 30 to 45 minutes after your flight lands. When your ship docks, you have to clear US Customs and Immigration which can take over an hour. Generally, we do not schedule pick ups at the Ports before 8:00AM.

Question: Is The Shuttle Guaranteed to be waiting for me when I arrive?
Answer: Your trip is 100% guaranteed with us. This means that you are contracting us to provide transportation. We have a better than 98% on-time rate. Please understand that we cannot always predict traffic and road conditions. We apologize in advance if the shuttle is delayed in picking you up. We do not offer a time guarantee. No transportation company is able to do this.

Question: Is Driver Gratuity Included In the Fares?
Answer: Absolutely! Our fares are all inclusive!. There is no additional tax, fees, tolls - nothing!

Question: How will I find my driver when I arrive?
Answer: Your driver is given your Cell Phone Number (This is why we require it to make a reservation). Approximately 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time, your driver will call you directly on your cell phone and coordinate the meeting place for pick up at the airport or cruise terminal.

Question: Will I be sharing my shuttle with someone else?
Answer: No, all of our shuttles are private which means there is no "ride-sharing" with strangers. This trip is all about you!

Question: What if I am late and my driver has to wait for me?
Answer: Our drivers will await up to 30 minutes at no additional charge. After 31 minutes, your credit card will be charged $50.00 for every 30 minutes the driver must wait for you to arrive. This does not apply to airport pick ups. In case your flight is late, our Dispatch Desk tracks your flight and adjusts your pick up time accordingly. That's why we ask for your arriving flight information when you make a reservation.

Question: I am traveling with children. Are car seats provided?
Answer: We do not offer car seats, however, you are more than welcomed to bring your own. They must meet the same standards as the airline requires.

A Word On Child Restraint Devices (Car Seats)

We are often asked if we supply Child Restraint Seats onboard our shuttles. The answer is no, we do not. The United States does not require children to travel in Car Seats in commercial vehicles. Parents are encouraged to bring their own car seats if they choose. We have heard parents say that they don't believe it's safe for a child to travel in a shuttle without a car seat. We understand the concerns parents have and offer this advice. Our shuttles have a maximum speed governor of 70 Miles Per Hour....an airplane travels at speeds in excess of 500 miles per hour. In short, we encourage you to bring your car seats for your children when you travel.

Question: What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Answer: Customers who cancel a reservation made through our web site or by telephone is entitled to a refund minus a $10.00 per person each way. In order to receive a refund, you must use the Refund Request Form on our website and travel cannot be within the next 48 hours. Cancellation of travel within 48 hours of travel under any circumstance is 100% Non-Refundable. Cancellation requests are not accepted by telephone. Travel purchased using a promotion code is 100% Non-Cancellable, Non-Changeable & Non-Refundable. This includes our “Last Minute Specials” as well.

Question: Will the shuttles I be riding in be insured and permitted legally?
Answer: Yes, all of the shuttles we use are insured with a minimum of $1 Million Dollars of General Liability and we currently have permits to transport in and out of all major airports and cruise ports in the United States.

Everyone is always excited when they are about to embark on a Cruise and understandably so! It's an exciting time, especially for those who get such little vacation time.

Getting from the airport to the cruise port is the easy part. Most people will book their airport pick ups generally 45 minutes to 1 hour after the flight is scheduled to arrive. Our Driver will call you 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time to let you know where the driver is located so finding each other is easy.

Most Cruise Lines allow passengers to embark the ship after 12 Noon. Some Cruise Lines offer early embarkation for those whom have paid a little extra. (Call your Cruise Line for details) We always ask that you ensure that whatever cell phone number you provide when you make your reservation is charged fully and on the day of your travels. It is imperative that you and your driver are able to communicate. Please don't forget your cell phone!

Getting off the ship is an entirely different process altogether. It can be quite stressful if you are a first time cruiser. Here's a fact for you...the average cruise port receives 4 to 6 scheduled cruise ships daily and they all arrive around the same time. Passengers must disembark, claim their luggage, then go through US Customs and Immigration before actually being allowed to leave the terminal building.

All Cruise Ports have one road in and one road out to exit the Cruise Port. Let's do some math...each cruise ship carries on the average of 2000 guests and when you multiply that by an average of 5 ships per port, that is 10,000 people all trying to leave the port at the same time. Setting aside the newly arriving 10,000 guests whom are leaving on their cruise that same day. So now there is 20,000 people coming in and going out of a cruise terminal. It can be quite the nightmare! We always suggest booking your flight home no earlier than LATE afternoon.

Suggestion: If your flight departs later in the day - STAY ON THE SHIP and don't schedule your pick up time early in the day. The "peak" pick up time from the Cruise Port is between 08:15AM and 09:30AM. Try and schedule between 09:45AM and 11:30AM for your pick up

Book Your Flight FIRST, then Book your Ground Transportation to the Cruise Port!

Generally, you won't be able to board the ship until 12PM at the earliest. Most cruises depart the Port at 4PM and boarding usually closes at 3:30PM. Please consider the travel time from the airport to the cruise port.

If the weather is good and there are no delays, the ship will dock around 7 o'clock in the morning. It takes several hours to disembark everyone off of the ship. .

On Carnival, you'll know it's disembarkation day because public address systems start bellowing the news rather early in the morning. But don't hurry. The ship has to be cleared by Customs and port authorities before you can actually leave. If you have a particularly early flight home, alert the purser's office at least a day in advance and they will give you priority disembarkation, as designated by the same color-coded tags on your luggage. If you have a later flight, kick back and enjoy another cup of coffee. This is not a process that goes particularly fast. Remember, you aren't allowed to get off earlier than the time designated by your luggage tags, but you can get off later.

Customs
For cruises disembarking in the U.S., you will have to fill out a Customs Declaration form (one per family), which you'll receive on the ship -- if you get off the ship in Canada, you clear customs when you get to the airport; and for Europe cruises you clear Customs when you return to the U.S. Customs inspectors don't check each and every bag, but you don't want to get caught breaking the rules. There are stiff fines, for instance, for bringing back Cuban cigars. The standard allowance for a U.S. citizen is $800 per traveler (kids count too) in duty-free goods. That can include 1 carton of cigarettes or 100 cigars and 1 liter of alcohol if you are over 21. If you go over the limits you may have to pay a 10% tax

Immigration
Immigration authorities used to do a blanket clearance of the whole ship when the time came to disembark at a U.S. port. Only non-U.S. citizens or green card holders needed to meet with authorities. But in recent times, with concern over terrorists entering the U.S. and what not, everyone may be required to appear before authorities at some point during the cruise. If that's the case, listen to the public address announcements for details about the clearance meeting: You usually meet in some sort of lounge, all family members must attend, and you need to bring your passport or ID (details will be given on the ship).
